Steve and Missy Genson built our restaurant and opened it in June 200l. We have always made everything from scratch, from our smoked meats to our side dishes, breads, desserts, sauces, dressings, seasoning blends--everything!
Steve hand cuts, seasons, and lightly smokes his meat and seafood with apple wood. Our house specialty is smoked rack of lamb. We feature other smoked meat and seafood-USDA Prime steaks, baby back ribs, chickens, salmon, prawns, and swai. We also have Missy's southern fried chicken, plus a large variety of seafood and pasta dishes, including deep fried prawns and fish, cajun and creole prawns and fish, and steamed clams and mussels over pasta.
We also have a variety of large entree salads, clam chowder and soups, plus other salads and side dishes. All of our breads and desserts are homemade, like everything else.
Our lunch menu includes burgers and sandwiches, which are served until 5:00 pm.
We serve cocktails, wines, and beers.
It's just the two of us, and we prepare our food from scratch in small batches to make sure that everything is fresh when served. Because of this, we periodically run out of items.
Prices subject to change. Eighteen percent service may be added to parties of five or more.
We will be closed Friday, July 4th.
Our restaurant also includes a small store, where we sell our restaurant sauces, dressings, spice rubs and blends. We also sell a large variety of jams, relishes, vinegars, dried vegetables, granola, handmade soaps, body care products, and more from our farm, Thornfield Acres.
